"Ender's Game" Back in Development

When "Serenity" hit movie theaters, author Orson Scott Card said that Joss Whedon was the ideal director for a big-screen adaptation of the iconic science-fiction novel, "Ender's Game."

Unfortunately, no one in Hollywood seems to be listening to Card.

The on-again, off-again development of one of the greatest novels (sci-fi or the otherwise) appears to be on-again. And the man who could bring it to screens isn't Whedon but the director of "Wolverine."

Warehouse 13: Reset -- A Slice of SciFi Review

Last year, "Warehouse 13" found its stride mid-season and kept that confidence going into the season finale. This year, the show continued the stride right out of the gate while adding in a few new recurring elements to give the summer series a bit of an arc structure and story. It's not quite as difficult an arc to follow as shows like "Lost" or "Battlestar Galactica," but it was enough of one to give us some more investment in the characters.

Tonight's season finale continues the work started last week in paying off most of the character arcs from season two as well as working to wrap up the on-going storyline about H.G. Wells.

Remember the Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, "TimeCop?"

Universal does.

Released in 1994, the film was a minor hit for the studio and one of the last hit theatrical releases for Van Damme. It did enough business to warrant a direct-to-video sequel without Van Damme and a spin-off tv series.

"Chuck" Producers Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak -- A TV Guide Interview

The fourth season of "Chuck" kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.

The spy dramedy is one of our favorites here at Slice of SciFi and if you haven't been watching, we encourage you to give it a try. As I said last season when the show came back, you can catch "House" on Hulu later since it's likely the plot will be the same one it's been the past six years (House and the crew misdiagnose the condition for the first fifty-five minutes and then come up with a wacky cure based on a random conversation with Wilson). And if you're a football fan, you can miss the first half of Monday Night Football and be OK.
