Dave in NY says
In order:
Stargate Universe, Fringe, Big Bang Theory, No Ordinary Family, Chuck and The Event.
I’m not caught up on Caprica, Smallville and Supernatural.
Arkle says
It’s a tie between SG:U and Caprica.
k9 says
In order- FRINGE, BBT, SGU, CAPRICA
Do not care about the rest.
Tim from RI says
In order: Dexter (not genre, but such a good show), Stargate SGU, Chuck!, Caprica and Smallville.
ejdalise says
The Big Bang Theory by a wide margin.
Then Chuck, then . . . Human Target. I think that will do it.
Skiznot says
SGU is science fiction TV at its best. The closest I get on TV to that sense of wonder I get from reading hard sci-fi. Its seems a lot of people have been catching SGU in the summer with Hulu and Netflix streaming so I hope their numbers get better and the new fans account for the loss of some of the core Stargate Fans that didn’t like the change in tone.
Fringe is fun and has some great episodes. I wouldn’t mourn Caprica if it went away but there’s enough interesting things to keep me watching so if they really find their legs and dig in then it’s a bonus.
Mic7 says
SGU …dying to see the answers to the cliffhanger…after that Caprica.
tmw says
I still don’t understand why Supernatural isn’t more popular than it is – great writing, great characters… is it just b/c guys won’t watch anything on the CW?
Chris says
@tmw… I agree with you that Supernatural is all that and more but I am not looking for it’s return. The end of season 5 is where it was planned to end and that is where they should have stopped. Continuing the show now is just a money grab that may in the long run hurt the overall opinion of the show.
That being said I am looking forward to (in the most to least order) Chuck, SG:U, and No Ordinary Family.
Sam says
Boy, this is a tough one because I am looking forward to so many returns and new shows. Chuck , then BBT followed by Fringe, Caprica, SGU, The Event, No Ordinary Family, Sanctuary, and finally Smallville on my iTunes since DISH doesn’t carry CW network in my area. Never got into Supernatural – too little time-too much great programming.
Robin says
Most? I guess I have to go with Chuck by a narrow margin, just because it’s fun and they’ve got Linda Hamilton playing Mama Bartowski.
I’m also really eager to see Sanctuary, SGU, Fringe, Caprica, and Big Bang Theory.
I’ll be watching Smallville just because I’m a completionist and I know they’ve got some kickass guest stars lined up for the final season.
And I’m intrigued enough by The Event to at least watch the first few episodes to see if it pulls me in for the long run.
I haven’t gotten into Supernatural because when it started Jared and Jensen were coming off of really annoying roles on Gilmore Girls and Smallville, respectively, and I couldn’t deal with anything starring the two of them. Having seen bits and pieces of the show over the years, I’m pretty sure I’d enjoy it. There just hasn’t been time for me to get caught up. (See above, re: completionist.) It’s definitely on my Someday List.
Sam says
OMG! Is Chuck getting dark are what? Loved the ending of Monday night’s season premiere episode, wasn’t expecting that from a show like Chuck. The show has just stepped it up a notch.
Also, The Event is going to be awesome if the writing can keep up with the pilot episode.
Chris says
One show I forgot and that is not on this list is “The Walking Dead”!
Ben Ragunton says
My order of shows to see this year: Fringe, Big, Bang Theory, Stargate: SGU, No Ordinary Family, The Event, Smallville.
