Phil Hopkins, founder of Film Masters, is here to talk about their newest restoration releases, Destination Moon & Flight to Mars (July 2026), and Monster Mayhem Collection (March 2026).

Phil talks about their examination of the archives available in the Wade Williams estate, and how both Flight to Mars and Destination Moon would make a great companion release. He also talks about the “Poverty Row” films, and how those low budget films made a broader impact on science fiction productions, and how extensive the searches for viable prints to restore can be, how much work goes into creating the bonus commentaries and featurettes, and more.

We also talk about compiling the previous “Monster Mayhem Collection” and where those four movies fit into the low budget genre entertainment space. And keep an eye out, upcoming releases include a few Ed Wood features, including Plan 9 From Outer Space!
