International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival director Monte Yazzie returns to talk about the 2025 edition of this acclaimed genre film festival. The history and mix of new films and nostalgic spotlights makes this festival a favorite amongst genre fans.

Monte talks about how the scifi track and horror track directors — Mike Stackpole, Brandon Kinchen and Danny Marianino — filter through all the features and shorts to make the best selections for the attendees to enjoy. He also mentions some of the highlights of the festival, including two different documentaries about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Chain Reactions and Dinner with Leatherface.

And yes, March 29 will feature a reunion for Platoon with director Oliver Stone and several cast members.
