2024 International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival Shorts Programs

The International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival weekends feature both the Horror and Sci-Fi shorts programs, and here are the schedules for these exciting new visions of the darkness and the future:

HORROR SHORTS A

FRIDAY, APRIL 5 AT 8:50PM

My Scary Indian Wedding
Directed by: Ramone Menon
Synopsis: A cursed Bridesmaid is forced to find and marry her soulmate to escape from a vengeful demon called The Manglik.

Cart Return
Directed by: Matt Webb
Synopsis: Melanie is too self-absorbed to return her cart, leading to an unfortunate turn of events.

CYCLES
Directed by: Will Darbyshire
Synopsis: When a dinner with new neighbours goes awry, a couple reignite the spark in their relationship by covering their tracks.

Wait For It
Directed by: David J. Stieve
Synopsis: Darcy is a Survivor Girl living in the aftermath of her encounter with a psycho-slasher killer always wary of him

Monophobia
Directed by: Gregory Voigt
Synopsis: A malevolent spirit torments a young man with monophobia, the fear of being alone.

Universe 25
Directed by: David Tappan
Synopsis: Human lab rats are held captive by a mysterious entity. No hope of escape how do you cope with existence.

Remnants
Directed by: Barrett Hooper
Synopsis: Remnants explores a man’s struggle to connect with his widowed father and how ageing, illness and dementia haunt them both.

Bisected

Synopsis: A couple witnesses a paranormal event that separates them into two distinct dimensions.

The Rooms
Directed by: Heeryun You
Synopsis: Cast in a green light, a long corridor seems never ending in sight. Jun-sang faces multiple rooms, meeting various people.

The Tunnel
Directed by: Mitsuhiro Honda
Synopsis: When a man is struggling to do what he wanted in Brooklyn, his long-distance girlfriend finds his doppelgänger in Tokyo.

DARK CELL
Directed by: Jean-Michel TARI
Synopsis: Two space prison inmates face a survival choice due to a monstrous infestation and a limited escape pod to Earth.

Super Happy Fun Clown

Synopsis: A new editor for a horror production company learns the hard way that not all found footage movies are fake.

The Deep

Synopsis: A woman takes a last minute house sitting job, but an unexpected visitor turns it into a night of terror.

New Friend

Synopsis: A group of friends lose their grip on reality when a mysterious new friend joins their hangout.

HAZARD LIGHTS

Synopsis: A lone man, guided only by flickering hazard lights, navigates the anxiety-ridden wilderness of the night.

Two Knocks on a Door
Directed by: Eric Silvera and Sean Kenealy
Synopsis: A father grows suspicious that there’s an intruder in his house, only to discover something much darker.

Bookworm (Ratón de Biblioteca)
Directed by: Javier Yañez Sanz
Synopsis: Spain, 1979. Irene is an aspiring writer who obsesses with the delicate ghost at the library she works.

Delivery
Directed by: Beau Horyza
Synopsis: Unexpected horror unfolds as John, seeking a quiet night, faces a chilling twist in a suspenseful thriller, “Delivery.”

A Capsule for Robin
Directed by: Lalithra Fernando
Synopsis: An optimistic host’s dinner party goes awry when her husband reveals he doesn’t want kids amidst humanity’s impending extinction.

First Time Machine
Directed by: Jay Woelfel
Synopsis: Dr. Grainger show to his friends his new invention: first time machine. One of them has hidden intentions for it.

DRAGON FRUIT
Directed by: J.Brown
Synopsis: In a violent, dystopian future, a single mother attempts to grow a dragon fruit sprout to sell for cash.
