DC To Publish “Vampire Diaries” Comic

January 3, 2014 By Mike Hickerson 1 Comment

The CW’s hit series The Vampire Diaries will become the latest in a long line of TV series to get a tie-in comic book.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the comic tie-in will hit stands next Wednesday.  The first issue collects a series of digital shorts called “Vervain.”

The storyline follows incarnations of Damon, Stefan and Julian, and features artwork by Colleen Doran and Tony Shasteen, who also provides one of the issue’s covers.

The first issue will hit shelves on January 8 from DC.

The physical comic will then be published monthly.

Great! Love this show & its spin-off The Originals. Now I can double-fix on the vamp gang.
