The upcoming Batman vs Superman movie is generating a lot of excited buzz among fans.
However, it has thrown a monkey wrench into the plans for a potential Batman crossover on the CW’s Arrow.
Producers Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim say the upcoming feature film means that the entire Batman mythology will now be off-limits to the show.
“We’ve heard the fans and we’re very well aware that they would like to see Nightwing and various other Bat-characters on the show. [But] that is a little bit out of our control, [and] I think [that movie] announcement made it a lot more out of our control!” they say. “We’re like fanboys and it’s wish fulfillment for us every time we put a new DC character on the table.”
