January 31, 2013 By Michael Hickerson Leave a Comment

Actress Katie McGrath has joined the cast of NBC’s Dracula reboot.

McGrath may be best known to genre fans from her work on Merlin.

McGrath will play Lucy Westenra, a London socialite who is friends with Mina Murray – played by Arrow‘s Jessica De Gouw – according to TVLine.

Game of Thrones actor Nonso Anozie has also been cast on Dracula as Renfield, the loyal accomplice of Dracula.

The new series takes place in London in the 1890s, where Dracula poses as Alan Grayson, an American businessman, while secretly seeking revenge on those who wronged him.
