With Netflix losing 800,000 customers in one quarter, the on-line content delivery service needs some positive news these days.
Our next story may be a step in the right direction for the company. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Disney/ABC Studios has extended and expanded their on-line streaming deal with Netflix.
Netflix will get episodes of Switched at Birth and Alias, as well as back episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, Lost, Brothers & Sisters and Ugly Betty.
Several shows from ABC Family and The Disney Channel are also included in the new deal. The partnership with Amazon brings similar content to its Prime streaming service as well.

Try watching Switched at Birth. It’s a rather entertaining series. Which is surprising since it’s on ABC Family.
