Casey Putsch has created the world’s first turbine powered Batmobile.
The car is powered by a military spec turboshaft engine driving the rear wheels through a semi automatic gearbox and features a custom tube frame/monocoque chassis with fully independant suspension, disc brakes, and a sequential shifter. The Batmobile can run on kerosene, diesel, or Jet fuel and has a power to weight ratio comparable to a Dodge Viper. The car is registered and insured for the road in the United States.
Putsch has a video on YouTube showing the Batmobile in action:
That’s what you should do when you have a lot of time on your hand instead of play World of Warcraft. Build a Batmobile.
