The nominations for the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning.
Peter Dinklidge and Game of Thrones got nods while Sean Bean and Emilia Clarke didn’t. Also snubbed was Fringe in the major categories and (on a personal note) Nick Offerman as Ron “F-ing” Swanson, the best character on TV right now from NBC’s hilarious Parks and Recreation.

And again, no love for Fringe… What does it take?!?!
Michael Hickerson says
Genre shows have an uphill battle to get nominated. Plus with Game of Thrones getting a nod, I figure the Emmy voters decided that was enough sf/f nods.
Either that or they don’t watch Fringe.
