While Wonder Woman may not have made it onto the fall schedule, a new TV version of the Hulk could still be on its way to our screens.
Producer Guillermo del Toro says that the project is still moving forward with ABC. Del Toro is working on the proposed series with former BSG producer David Eick.
“We turned in the outline to ABC about four weeks ago. And then we did a rewrite for ABC on the outline, and now we are lining up the pages,” del Toro says.
And while he won’t detail how this new series will be different from other TV takes on the character, he does confirm it will offer a different look at the green goliath.
“I think so. Or we wouldn’t be trying it. Actually, one of the points of this project early on with Marvel, was “We’re going to do this thing different, and here’s how. Are you interested?” And they were,” he says.
