With the third volume of “Heroes” closing Monday and a new one not opening until February, fans will be happy to know that it won’t be a bleak mid-winter without new content.
Starting Monday, NBC will offer the first in a series of new “Heroes” webisodes series, called “The Recruit.” New episodes will be released each Monday for this new storyline in the “Heroes” universe.
We’ve got a sneak-peek at the behind-the-scenes creation of the webisodes and a short preview as well as some photos to whet your appetite.
Please don’t post video content on your site that is specific to the US only. A large percentage of your audience is from one of the hundreds of other countries in the world, and this eliminates us. If your show was US only I could understand it, but it’s not.
Rick, I understand your frustration, but both Heroes and Slice of Sci-Fi are U.S.-based shows. Michael, Sam, Summer, et al can post whatever clips and other media they feel is relevant and timely. It’s their site.
There is a lot of content on sites like bbc.co.uk that I would love to see, as a fan of shows like Doctor Who and Torchwood. I can’t because I’m not in the UK. Sure, it’s kind of annoying, but there’s no sense whining about it when the networks (both NBC and the BBC) are just trying to protect their intellectual property.
Yeah while it is highly annoying we can’t see the US content. Its not the slicers fault. At least now we know about it and can get it via ‘other’ means.
Hopefully one day the studios will get their act together and work out a way to distribute to overseas countries at the same time.
I know that in australia we sometimes have to wait at least 2 years for a Tv series to appear. I think it is due to the fact that either our TV stations are too cheap to pay the going price for a new series or the studios are charging way to high a price to be reasonable for a country of only 21 million.
Either way it needs to be fixed.
