QMx Introduces “The Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider Artisan Replica”

QMx Introduces “The Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider Artisan Replica”

September 29, 2008 By Sam Sloan Leave a Comment

More than a year in development, QMx’s first limited-edition ship model has arrived — The Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider Artisan Replica.

Limited to just 500 scale replicas, QMx is doing these a little different that other high-end collectible ships you may have seen in the past: Each ship is built by hand in the U.S. by the special-effects artists at The FX Company, a leading film model miniature maker. As a result, each model will benefit from the same care and attention to detail a filming miniature for a major motion picture would get, but for considerably less than what a professionally built, custom model would normally cost.

What’s more, each film-quality replica will come with a special bonus: a numbered brass plaque signed by one of Battlestar Galactica’s stars or executive producers.

Supplies are very limited and open to insiders only. Want to become a QMx Insider? GO HERE to find out how.
