We are back again this week to talk more with Ben Robinson about some of the other genre projects Hero Collector works on, particularly the books and the model ships.

Ben talks about gathering the materials needed to create these collections for not just Star Trek, but also now Battlestar Galactica, working with the artists, designers and modelers about what went into the style and depth of the ship designs, and more.

He also talks about how much went into the book about the Aston Martin DB5 featured in the James Bond movies, and about the cars in their book “The 50 Greatest Bond Cars”. Ben’s also a 007 fan, and who can blame him?

Don’t miss our previous interview with Ben and Ian Spelling about Star Trek The Original Series: A Celebration, or with Matt McAllister about Galaxy Quest: The Inside Story, and also enter the giveaways to win yourself a copy of one of these Hero Collector volumes for yourself!

What genre fandoms do you seek out reference manuals or art books for? Let us know! Send Summer an email, or leave a message in the comments below!
