Ben Robinson and Ian Spelling from Hero Collector stop by to talk about Star Trek: The Original Series: A Celebration, the latest (but not last) in their Celebration series.

The first “Celebration” volume came out in 2020, honoring Star Trek: Voyager, and it did so well, and given the 55th anniversary for the Original Series was imminent, they said, “well, why not?”

Ben and Ian talk about seeking out photos and information that hadn’t been commonly seen or seen at all by most of the fans, especially the expansive amount of materials in the hands of various private collectors, and much more.

Ben and Ian also give a sneak peek at a new book in production, The Women’s Trek, with Nana Visitor and talking to and with women whose lives and careers were influenced by Star Trek, and the impacts they in turn made.

Don’t miss our previous interview with Matt McAllister about Galaxy Quest: The Inside Story, and to enter the giveaways to win yourself a copy of one of these Hero Collector volumes for yourself!
