Special Star Trek Valentine Weekend From EPIX

EPIX premium cable channel will be hosting an all-day STAR TREK 24-hr Marathon on Sunday February 16, 2014 that will include special presentations, interviews, documentaries and a whole array of Star Trek films from the TOS, TNG and Alternate Timeline (ATL) cast.

Best part? George Takei – aka, Captain Sulu – will be hosting the spectacular event with Leonard Nimoy.

First up for the evening lineup is a conversation with Leonard Nimoy (Spock) at 7:45PM (EST) followed by the world television premiere showing of Star Trek Into Darkness starring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto.

Takei will talk about the video offerings throughout the day and give viewers some inside info on such classic Trek films as Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, the film that saw his promotion to Captain and a starship of his own to command.

8:15 AM – The Captains Close-Up: Patrick Stewart EPIX Original Documentary
8:50 AM – Star Trek: The Motion Picture
11:05 AM – Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
1:05 PM – Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
2:55 PM – William Shatner’s Get a Life! EPIX Original Documentary
4:00 PM – Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
5:50 PM – Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
7:45 PM – A Conversation with Leonard Nimoy EPIX Special Presentation
8:00 PM – Star Trek Into Darkness World Television Premiere
10:15 PM – Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
12:05 AM – Star Trek Into Darkness
2:20 AM – Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
4:20 AM – The Captains EPIX Original Documentary
