Newspaper reveals Doctor Who SPOILERS

June 17, 2008 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

It’s been rumored for months now that an old foe was returning for the series four finale of Doctor Who. The teaser trailer for the second half of series four gave fans a hint of who it could be, but now British tabloid the Sun has confirmed the identity of the character and has exclusive photos.

The identities and photos of the villians will be after the jump to protect those who don’t want the surprise ruined…

The new photos reveal that the creator of the Daleks, Davros, will return for the final episodes of the season. This will be the first time in 20 years that Davros has been featured on the show. He last appeared in the Sylvester McCoy story, “Remembrance of the Daleks.” Davros will be played by actor Julian Bleach. Previous rumors had Oscar-winning actor Ben Kingsley taking on the role.

Joining Davros as his second-in-command is a new red Dalek. The new Dalek is described “as nasty a Dalek as you can get.”

The three-part series finale of Doctor Who begins airing this weekend in the UK and will air in early July on SciFi in the United Stattes.

Not much of a “jump” in the article to protect the spoilers. Just a regular paragraph break. Not to mention the picture right there.

To perfectly fair, if you have been following this season it was pretty obvious that Davros was coming back, not much of a scoop but still pretty cool.

Far better than the Master three-parter, the return of the old enemy is more dramatic and compelling than anything seen in “Doctor Who” since the series returned to our screens in 2005.
