Cameron Thinks All Movies Would Be Better in 3-D

Oscar-winning director James Cameron believes that 3-D is the next big jump for filmmaking, adding that he sees a day when it will be as ubiquitous as color or sound in films.
"I’m talking about a future when you don’t have to put “in 3D” on the movie poster anymore, the same way that you don’t put “in color” on posters anymore. Imagine that point in time, when 3D is just a natural, innate part of viewing," Cameron tells Entertainment Weekly.
Is Deleted "Jedi" Scene Real?

At the recent Star Wars event celebrating 30 years of "The Empire Strikes Back," George Lucas announced that the popular movie series was headed to Blu-Ray next year with an all-new set of special features. (And apparently not a remastered version of the original cut of the films....)
One of the promised extras was deleted scenes from the films. And to tease things, Lucas unveiled a scene that served as Luke's initial introduction in "Return of the Jedi."
Bradbury Says We Should Go Back to the Moon

Best-selling science-fiction writer Ray Bradbury says that the effort being put into creating the next new gadget could be better used toward exploring our universe and heading back to the moon.
"[President Barak Obama] should be announcing that we should go back to the moon,” he tells the LA Times. “We should never have left there. We should go to the moon and prepare a base to fire a rocket off to Mars and then go to Mars and colonize Mars. Then when we do that, we will live forever."

Crew Completes Repairs to Space Station

Astronauts Douglas Wheelock and Tracy Caldwell Dyson completed repairs to the International Space Station Monday by making their third space walk in a week.
The astronauts wrapped up repairs to a faulty cooling system as they circled 220 miles (355 kilometers) above Earth.

While there's an official button to like something on Facebook, there still isn't an official button to dislike things. And while the social networking site may implement one in the future, a new phishing expedition is currently taking advantage of people's desire to have a dislike button.
Be warned: if you see a link to dislike something on Facebook, don't click on it. The link is a scam that will try to extract your personal data.
"Merlin" Series 3 Will Air on SyFy

This spring, SyFy brought us the 13 episode run of "Merlin"'s second season.

The latest installment in the long-running "Stargate" franchise proved divisive among fans right out of the gate. From its first episode, the series affirmed that this wasn't your typical "Stargate" series, boldly going in a new, darker, more character driven direction for the franchise. And while some fans were hesitant to embrace the new direction for the franchise, those who did were treated to a compelling ride, especially as the series hit its stride and never looked back.
The ten episodes collected together for "Stargate: Universe Season 1.5" show the series hitting its stride and never looking back.
