Comics writer Jeremy Whitely stops by to talk about writing comics, both corporate-owned IP and his own creator-owned series.
He writes the “Sea of Thieves” comics (Titan Comics) based on the Microsoft video games (available on Xbox and Steam), and his own titles “The School for Extraterrestrial Girls” (Papercutz) and “The Dog Knight” (Feiwel & Friends). We talk about each series, how they came about and the stories he wants to tell.
We also chat a bit about his being a fan of horror movies, and being a co-host on the Progressively Horrified Podcast reviewing horror movies while looking for examples of feminism, representation and queer narratives. (@ProgHorrorPod on Twitter)
