Writer/Director/Producer Paul Salamoff stops by to talk about adapting to and from graphic novels, about teaching writing genre film writing, about working in Hollywood, and much more.

HIRED GUNS is a comics series about an elite team of operatives put together for the specific goal is to neutralize a former agent who has gone rogue in order to prevent a world war. His novel SILENT PLANET is currently being adapted into graphic novel format, and there are other projects underway that can’t be talked about publicly yet.

Paul is also a massive Doctor Who fan, and has amassed some impressive unique collectibles and connections with actors and writers over the years, in addition to having written stories and comics in the Doctor Who universe.

We also talk about Paul’s book ON THE SET: THE HIDDEN RULES OF MOVIE MAKING ETIQUETTE, which is a key reference still being used in film schools and seminars.
