Writer and comics editor Stuart Moore talks about his new book, “Doctor Strange: A Decade of Dark Magic”, part of Bloomsbury Academic’s new Marvel Age of Comics series featuring deep dives into historical eras, origins, and epic storylines from 85 years of Marvel Comics.
Stuart talks about the history of the early years of Doctor Strange, and how strongly linked to New York City this character with a cosmic connection has been, despite the irregular appearance of his own Marvel title in those early days. He also wrote the new “Captain America For Dummies” (yes, one of those Dummies books), which is a reference book comics fans would also enjoy, and also the books he’s working on for AHOY! Comics.
