The young stars of Shudder’s The Boy Behind the Door, Lonnie Chavis and Ezra Dewey, stop by to talk about their experiences making this tense well-crafted film.

First, Lonnie talks about working on this as his first horror movie, learning how to pull on darker emotions (and moderating the screaming), looking forward to doing more horror and action films. Lonnie also talks about his dreams of being a super-powered villain in a movie someday, and we spitball ideas for superheros and supervillains, and his deep love for Disney movies.

Next, Ezra talks about how much more fun making this was than he had expected, working with the other cast & crew, and becoming a big horror fan during the making of the movie, and more. And Ezra would also want to tackle an action movie role, and a supervillain role.

And don’t miss our interview with The Boy Behind the Door‘s writer/director team, Justin Powell & David Charbonier!

Did Summer mention how much she liked this film?

The Boy Behind the Door is available on VOD, Digital HD, DVD and Blu-ray on March 15, 2022 by RLJE Films.
