Ivan Kavanagh, writer/director for the new horror-thriller Son, stops by to talk about the real-life experiences that influenced him to write this story, and enhancing many of the shots to help increase the tension & anxiety & madness surrounding Laura, the oppressed mother.
He also talks about making Laura’s journey as confusing as possible, because of the unreliable narrator background she has, and also working with the eager young actor playing her son, and the fun he seemed to have with the practical effects, and more.
SON will be available In Theaters, On Demand and Digital on March 5th from RLJE/Shudder.
