“A Tall Ship” Honors the “Star Trek” Legacy A stirring tribute to the friends and family found through shared love of the series

The official music video for Sci-Fried’s latest single “A Tall Ship” is a tribute to all the friends and family they have made over the years with Star Trek fans.

Star Trek has always been cherished by the band, and have released numerous
original songs and parodies inspired by the franchise. This is mostly due to the fact
the band originally formed from a chance meeting of its core members at a Star Trek convention.

With these thoughts in mind, this video is a recollection of some of the great times we have
had a conventions through the years and friendships formed all because of the legacy of Star Trek.

You can read some of the Sci-Fried members’ thoughts about what Star Trek has meant to them as part of the “50 Years of Star Trek” essay series here:

“Dammit Jim” Frederick: “Connecting Friends and Family”
Chuck “Chuckcon” Silver: “Family, Friends and Shared Passions”
