Roger Cross has been on so many genre and procedural shows that each time he pops up onscreen, most people say, “Oh yeah, I’ve seen him before!” Scifi fans will recognize him recently from his roles in Continuum, The Strain, and Arrow, and his previous roles in Syfy Channel’s First Wave, and the miniseries Taken.

Roger talks with Summer about his new show on Syfy, Dark Matter. This story, based on a graphic novel written by Stargate‘s Joe Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, focuses on 6 people who wake up from stasis on a derelict spaceship, with no memory of who they are or how they got there, and their journey to find out who they really are, and what to do about their pasts.

Roger can also be heard doing voiceovers for animation and video games such as in “BioShock Infinite”, and in an upcoming Justice League animated feature voicing Green Arrow and Swamp Thing.

Dark Matter is on my watch-more list. Excellent cast and the set is not too improvable. I first saw Roger Cross as the fixer alien in First Wave and I do like his acting. Wish him luck.

Now the but syfy moment. Killjoys I pass on. Defiance I made it through 1 episode. Dominion is okay. Haven is great, Lost Girl is great. Bitten will never be Wolf Lake. 12 Monkeys is to whatever. (end opinion)

I watched Slipstream (2005) Ivana Milicevic and a bunch of supporting cast; SciFi Channel flick. It is funny that syfy now makes Roger Corman’s crazy output look like slacker.

Question: Did you watch The Signal? Heading back to my dungeon where Dollhouse is playing.

Love 12 Monkeys, can’t wait to see where they go with it next season. I’m having fun with Killjoys, actually, and no, haven’t seen “The Signal” as yet.
