Everyone knows by now that Matt Smith will not be returning as Doctor Who for series eight. Once the final episode and Christmas Special is concluded he will regenerate and be seen no more as one of the most beloved Doctors since Tom Baker.
In a final personal address to fellow crew and cast mates, past and present, Smith bids a glorious thank you to all Doctor Who fans that have stood by faithfully over the years with the franchise and with his remarkable take on the iconic character.
