In the late 80’s there was a rumor going around that would see Star Trek adapted as Broadway musical.  That project never saw the light of day but that doesn’t mean the idea of a musical Trek died.

Comedians Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal imagined what might happen if middle schoolers put on a musical based on classic Trek.   We have to admit the video is pretty great and makes us wonder if a musical based on Trek might not be a good idea after all.
