“Mute” Needs Your Help

“Mute” Needs Your Help

April 15, 2013 By Michael Hickerson Leave a Comment

Described as a sci-fi romance, the independent film Mute needs your help.

Albert has built a machine which disables the creation of sound. Disaster stikes when the device malfunctions, endangering earth and the girl he loves.

A promotional teaser and a fundraising campaign to get the full film off the ground has begun. You can find out more about how to support the film and help them meet their goal by going to IndieGoGo.

You can check out the promotional video below:

The project is written by Rory Cashin and directed by Phil Ronayne.

“One of my favorite movies of all time is Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, especially for the way it perfectly integrates science fiction and romance, two genres that aren’t normally suitable bed fellows. On top of that, I was interested in writing something that was primarily visual, and I couldn’t think of a better way to do that than to take away the sound,” Cashin says.

Time is running out to support the film!
