Mrs. Peel, Gorkon Appearing on “Doctor Who”

July 2, 2012 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

Big casting news for Doctor Who this morning.   Two iconic actors will be part of the series’ upcoming seventh season.

Diana Rigg, best known as Mrs. Peel on The Avengers, will join the series in a guest role next year along with her daughter Rachael Stirling. Producer Steven Moffat tweeted the news and said that filming on their guest roles as a mother and daughter team with a dark past begins this week.

Also joining the series in a guest role is actor David Warner. Warner has already filmed his guest role, it’s reported. No word yet on the character that Warner will play.
