Adversaries for “Who”, “Trek” Crossover Revealed

We told you yesterday that the Doctor and the crew of the NCC-1701D will be teaming up in a crossover comic later this year.

Now we can tell you the adversaries that bring together these two icons of the genre.

Bleeding Cool reports that the team-up will find them facing off against the Cybermen and the Borg.

The storyline is called Assimilation will be written by Scott and David Tipton, who wrote a couple of Star Trek comics for IDW, including IDW’s Infestation crossover series. It’ll be drawn by J.K. Woodward, who is known for his work on the Fallen Angel series.

Of course, there’s a bit of irony here since many Doctor Who fans contend that Trek ripped off the Cybermen in creating the Borg.
