Actress Rose Leslie has joined the cast for the upcoming second season of Game of Thrones. Leslie will play the role of Ygritte, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Ygritte is a wildling woman and spearwife who becomes a love interest for Jon Snow.
Leslie has appeared in several British series including Downtown Abby and Case Histories.
Production is currently underway on season two of Thrones and it is expected to return next spring.

Only just a recent fan of the show. A friend has lent me season 1 and just finished it last night. Excellent series, although I do hate ‘cliff-hangers’, and now am very impatient to see season 2. Anyone recommend a good fan site?
