If you can’t wait to see the return of Superman to the silver screen, we’ve got bad news for you. The wait just got a bit longer.
Warner Brothers has moved the release date from next December to June 14, 2013.
The move appears to come as the studio reviews its overall release slate. It had never committed the Superman tale to a specific date in 2012 and now that it also has Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey set to open on Dec. 14, 2012, it decided to space out its tentpoles and move Man of Steel into 2013.
But. But, What about the Mayan calender? We’re not going to be around after 2012. Come on, Let the MoS be free.
