The final 10 episodes of “Stargate: Universe” will begin airing on SyFy very soon. In fact, the return is less than two weeks away.
The show will air Mondays at 10 p.m. EST, starting March 7 reports TV Guide.
Fans may want to tune in for the premiere and live episodes. Several producers say there is a slim hope the series could get a third season on a different network should ratings warrant it. However, there are several other sites that have reported the sets for the series have been taken down and that the show’s best hope for revival may be in another form. Either way, let the advertisers know we want more “SGU” by watching!
The network has also picked up another show to add to its rotation. TV Guide reports that SyFy will begin airing repeats of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” on Thursday, April 7. The show will run in four hour blocks on the network each Thursday evening, starting at 7 p.m. EST.
SyFy’s new series “Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen” will make its debut on Tuesday, March 22 (10/9c). “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” will return the following night at 10/9c. “Sanctuary” will round out the spring premieres, debuting Friday, April 15 (10/9c).

Will miss SGU but will not watch reruns of failed shows with commercials, even if good, since they end so abruptly. If I like them that much to watch again I will buy them and skip the commercials or record them as I go and skip the commercials. Wrestling, crappy reality shows that they do not give up on and really bad Saturday movies I do not see how this can survive. The original SCI-FI showing reruns from the 60’s and 70’s was better. The amount of true SCI-FI on SYFY is only a few hours and dropping. I really want to quit watching SYFY at all but if they come up with something good I will support it even if only an hour a week. I hate to contribute to the decline of the genre but from what I see today we are doomed regardless. I will have to continue fan driven projects which are getting better all the time.

Still angry at SyFy.

According to writer/producer Joe Mallozzi’s blog, they’ve pretty much gone through every option for a third season pickup by another network. At this point they’re angling for a TV or direct-to-DVD movie, since this season apparently ends on a pretty massive cliffhanger. The tricky part will be convincing MGM to pay for it, considering their recent financial troubles and the general decline in the DVD market.
As for TSCC, I already own the DVDs but I’ll probably still tune in before, after, and for the half-hour between Big Bang Theory and Bones. Hey, at least it’s not more wrestling or ghost hunting.
As much as I’m intrigued by molecular gastronomy, I’ve watched both seasons of Top Chef that had Marcel as a competitor and I can’t stand him.
But yay for the return of Sanctuary! I’ve really missed those guys.

What a waste I wonder if ABC will pick it up, it has potential to be great. If not you can always watch the crappy movies they show every saturday. Monster crock, super anaconda, bird flu horror. For real I would rather watch the outer limits in black and, rales from the darkside, or quantum leap. Old school sci fi is awesome!
