The 1st and 3rd sound interesting, will not hold my breath yet.
startrekmom says
huh? law & order: the space files; the ghost cop, ‘ghost’ busting agents? these sooo don’t sound better than what was canceled.
David Dvorkin says
They could have kept going with Eureka, a known winner.
Grr.
Ashley Martin says
SEEING THINGS (working title)
No, not again, it’s just “Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)
aka My Partner the Ghost” again.
David says
No Battlestar Blood and Gore or whatever it was called
TH says
That’s just the development slate – it doesn’t mean they’ll actually get produced and aired next year.
Viking Warrior says
The only one that sounds interesting to me doesn’t even have a name yet. I shall hold out no hope.

Hmmm…. first one has echoes of Andromeda. Not interested in more cop shows.
Last one could be ok but then someone came up with Tera nova.
tensaibaka says
So, two more “ghost” related shows to keep the ghost hunter crowd tuned in, and one attempt at a space based show to “try” and bring back some other sci-fi fans. siffy, prove us skeptics wrong and surprise us for once….

The first one sounds like it “might” have a chance as long as it has more than 11 shows per season. A 22 show per season like Stargate and Stargate Atlantis were, so the show has time to develop and grow an audience. But I am sure this new SyFy company will only allow 11 shows and demand SG-1 type audience numbers or they will cancel it like they did with “Firefly”.
Randall says
The first sounds like Robert H. Wolfe being given a second chance at Andromeda. If his luck holds to pattern, the show will be good and either cancelled quickly, or taken away from Mr. Wolfe and given to someone else to dumb down.

Syfy’s quartet of scripted shows draws 1.45 million total viewers in the third quarter of this year. The annoying orange often has more than that on YouTube with a single episode. But I guess that I am comparing apples with oranges.

The first one seems interesting, but im getting soooo tired of all these “ghost” and “spirits” crap that is on TV lately…
some guy you dont know says
the robert wolfe project sounds way too much like a rehash of Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda that he produced in 2000-2002.
this is good and bad for me.. I kind of liked Andromeda… but am leery of reboots.

At least there is one potential space opera show there. I really miss having a space opera show on TV.
