Will There Be a Third Season of “Warehouse 13?”

September 21, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 14 Comments

Could tonight’s season finale for “Warehouse 13” also be the series finale?

It’s possible.

So far, SyFy hasn’t signed off on a third season for the show.

Producer Jack Kenny tweeted earlier “Warehouse 13 will definitely be back for a third season! Official announcement may not be made till October, but we’re coming back!” but then deleted the post.

He said he misunderstood what execs at SyFy had told him.

“Oops – I made a mistake & misconstrued a conversation. While we’re hopeful for a 3rd season of Warehouse 13, nothing has been decided,” he Tweeted.

SyFy execs haven’t yet given a green light to the show for season three.  However, they have given the green light to a fifth-season of “Eureka” which is only half through the fourth season.

We will get a holiday-themed episode in December.

And if tonight’s episode is a series finale, I have a feeling a lot of fans will be irritated.  The show ends on some interesting cliffhangers.

Fun escapist entertainment like the National Treasure movies, my favorite show on SyFy. Do not understand early renewal of Eureka (a good show) but not for Warehouse 13. Hope the suits know the quality product they have.

And we just got the EurekaVerse Podcast off the ground, covering Eureka and Warehouse 13!

Definitely let SyFy know if you want to keep WH13 going!
You can email them or tweet to @SyFy – he’ll pass along our requests for more!
    And enjoy the show!

I’ll bet if they put wrasslin’ in it, Syfy would get right behind a third season.

From what I have seen on feed I get, Warehouse 13 IS coming back for a 3rd season. From what the feed says, Executive Producer Jack Benny TWEETED the following: “FYI, #Warehouse13 will definitely be back for a third season! Official announcement may not be made till October, but we’re coming back!” on Weds.

So hopefully that was an accurate tweet and come October we will have official word

“Could tonight’s season finale for “Warehouse 13? also be the season finale?”

I think you mean “series finale”.

    ——

I just checked the SyFy “Warehouse 13” web page and they’re saying that new episodes are returning in Summer 2011. So maybe it is getting a third season afterall.

But if that’s a mistake and it’s not returning (I doubt that – it’s one of SyFy’s most popular shows at the moment), we’ll at least get to see the holiday special coming later this year.

Although I prefer Eureka to Warehouse 13, I like both shows and would love to see both of them back.

If Syfy is serious about building it’s lineup I’d think they’d bring it back…they don’t have a huge stash of original programming but the more they’ve brought in…the more I’ve watched (Stargate Universe and Caprica included). Even loved their mini-series(if you call them that now) Tin Man and Alice.

Growth of a network takes time (CW and WB come to mind) and usually that means sticking with shows longer than other networks would. Even Seinfeld on must see Thursday wasn’t an immediate hit…they gave it a chance and it eventually took off. Were the ratings down this season or something? Thought it did pretty good last season.

When is Warehouse 13 returning? Just love that show, please don’t cancel it. It’s one of the best shows on TV. Always look forward to this show as it has such good storylines.

Simply the best Sci-Fi series on TV, in my humble opinion. Warehouse 13 is the only TV show I watch in real time. I’m hoping it comes back for a 3rd season. The interactions between Artie and Claudia are brilliant. Pete and Mika are awesome together. C C H Pounder is amazing.
