“Star Trek” Limited Edition Spork

“Star Trek” Limited Edition Spork

April 23, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 4 Comments

Is it just me or does anyone else hear the musical cue from Kirk and Spock duking it out to the death in “Amok Time” playing when you see the latest “Star Trek” collectible–the “Star Trek” Limited Edition Spork.

Sold by the good people over at ThinkGeek.com, this one of a kind collectible is a must-have for any fan of “Star Trek.”   The set is limited to only 1701 sporks (if you need to know why the number 1701, seek out any image of the starship Enterprise).    So if you want yours, you’d better order now!

Although Gerald Fried’s score is officially known as “Star Trek Fight Music”, it’ll always be “The Horns of Kirk” to me.

if you need to know why the number 1701, you don’t deserve to have one.
