In response to Starburst’s article which mentioned Takei as being part of Star Trek movie, Trek Movie Report (TMR) started dialing in its sources, and they’ve proclaimed that George Takei is in fact NOT in the movie, and that there is not a part for him in the script (which, with the WGA strike on poses a problem to adding new characters).
TMR also spoke with Takei’s business manager, who said “The Starburst Magazine article is erroneous, we will be as surprised as the fans if George is in Star Trek XI.”
Ok, now Shat can settle down and enjoy his weekend!
