For those who were looking forward to a repeat of the first episodes of Lifetime Channel’s hit show “Blood Ties,” which were originally planned to be aired before the beginning of season two, be prepared for a disappointment.
The cable network has decided to not rerun all those episodes in preparation for the new season, but have made them available for download on iTunes, or you can also go straight to the Lifetime-Blood Ties Website.
The good news is that the next season of “Blood Ties” begins on Lifetime — Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11PM ET/PT and will run uninterrupted for ten weeks.

Mrm. :-/ This smacks of lack of confidence or something. I don’t like it. I think they’re going to not give me a season 2.

Well that sucks. I was looking forward to checking it out after the good reviews. And I refuse to pay for TV via iTunes (let alone use iTunes in the first place). Oh well, I guess they don’t want me to watch season 2. I’ve got plenty of other shows to watch instead.

For a network who claims to be the Network for Women they have ignored us at every point, we beg for reruns-they refuse, we beg for additional new episodes-they remain silent, we beg for more advertising-they don’t. They haven’t advertised Blood Ties return yet they’ve advertised Lisa Williams which I seriously doubt is/was as popular as Blood Ties.
Scott, if you have access to Season 2 of Blood Ties once it comes back on other that ITunes, you need to watch because it seems at this point the only thing that might save it will be the ratings. I’ve written post cards until my fingers have bled, figuratively speaking, and I’m worried but I’m not saying die until the fat lady sings.

There is an excellent Blood Ties fan forum here…

Someone posted a message there that Comcast is offering some of the early episodes via their free ‘On Demand’ service. Might be worth checking out.

I think a bad move on Lifetime’s part…I missed the series initially and was hoping to catch-up on the show in the repeats.
I hate, hate, hate coming into a show in the middle and feeling lost.
I also hate to say it–this is not a strong show of support for the show by Lifetime.

At least you can catch all the “1st” seasons episodes on lifetime. This show rocks and we need to spread the word!!!
