The Stargate franchise producers are already working on another TV spinoff of SG-1 (see our related story). The new show will probably be called “Stargate: Universe.” Like SG-1 and Atlantis, this one will occur in present day, but will focus more on the mythos established in the original motion picture and its followup treatment on the 10-year arc of SG-1.
Is the scifi world ready for another take on the Gate Verse?
