Both Stargates Return This Friday

April 9, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 4 Comments

SCI FI fans can quell their BSG withdrawal a bit with the return of two fan favorites from the Stargate verse. “Stargate SG-1” and “Stargate: Atlantis” will both return to the SCI FI Channel this Friday, April 13, along with newbie “Painkiller Jane” to make up the new SCI FI Friday lineup for the next 10 weeks.

Stargate SG-1:

Picking up where the series ended in the first half of Season Ten, the SG-1 Team of Mitchell, Carter, Vala, T’ealc and Jackson begin their tenth and final season as travellers through the gate at the SGC.

SG-1 thaws the frozen body of Merlin and races to help him build a fabled superweapon to stop the advancing Ori invasion of Earth and the Milky Way Galaxy. Friday 8/7C.

Stargate: Atlantis:

Col. Sheppard and his team go AWOL to rescue General Jack O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson — that’s right, Jack is back!), and liberate the city of Atlantis before it gets nuked out of existence. Friday 9/8C.

Painkiller Jane:

In this show’s premiere Jane is hard to resist and even harder (dare we say, impossible) to kill. “Terminator 3’s” Kristanna Loken is SCI FI Channel’s newest and sexiest superheroine “Painkiller Jane.” Friday 10/9C.

Is it really the start of Season 10 for SG-1?? I thought it was just the second part (final 10 episodes) of Season 10.

Mike, you are correct. Returning is the second half of season 10. I think it’s probably a typo. 😉

As for Atlantis, it’s already aired in Canada, and I can’t believe that it turns out that Darth Vader was actually MaKay’s father. Oh, wait, yes I can. Pretty easy to believe, actually! 😀

SGA has aired in Canada, and SG-1 in the UK… go Scifi 😉

    My bad! Typo corrected. 🙂
