The zombie killing days for Milla Jovovich will be over after the completion of “Resident Evil: Extinction,” the third and now reportedly final film in the popular zombie franchise.

There had been plans for a possible fourth film, but those have been placed in the shredder, perhaps for later resurrection by a future filmmaker.

Res-Evil 3 will see the return of Oded Fehr and Mike Epps. Newbies to the zombie chasing and killing will be Spencer Locke (Monster House’s Jenny), Ali Larter (Niki on Heroes) and actress-singer/songwriter Ashanti, whose most recent film was “John Tucker Must Die.”

Look for the final film of this popular franchise in theaters on September 21, 2007.
