Created by a young artist who goes by the professional name of Lilredhead, Enterprise: Flashed is a fan made Star Trek Flash parody. The series was created to help in the effort to keep Star Trek: Enterprise from getting cancelled. Starting with the “Cancelled Trilogy,” the series addressed issues based on Enterprise’s cancellation. However, after it was clear the TV show would not make a return for a 5th season, Enterprise: Flashed evolved into its own entity. From parodying the series finale to entering the touching on political events , Enterprise: Flashed has had a pretty interesting run. This series is no longer about saving Enterprise, but to entertain all those Star Trek fans out there.
We have learned that Ian Peters of the Museum of the Moving Image in New York will be featuring “Enterprise: Flashed,” along with other select fan films that will be apart of the Star Trek: 40 Years of Fandom Exhibition. An interactive console will be set up to allow museum patrons to select the films they want to watch. Among them, the Enterprise “Cancelled” flash series will be presented. If you happen to be in the New York area within the next few months, we encourage you to drop by the Museum of the Moving Image and check it out!
