STAR TREK Fans Create Season 5 of “Enterprise”

October 18, 2005 By S. K. Sloan 2 Comments

Thomas Moore, Trek United Co-Founder, announced today in a press release that Trek United is undertaking an “ambitious fan project intent on continuing the adventures of STAR TREK: Enterprise.”

Titled “Enterprise:S5” the project will consist of twenty 45-minute episodes. The format (live-action or animation) has been left “open-ended” at this point and will be finalized once it is underway.

The stories will be a continuation of the adventures of the Enterprise NX-01 beginning two years after “Terra Prime.” The press release stated that the main focus of the first season will be the Romulan War.

“What makes this project unique,” stated Moore, “is the system put in place that allows fans to have creative input into the series production.”

To avoid the big-guns at Paramount Trek United states that all work done on “Enterprise:S5” is completely voluntary and totally done non-profit and without fund raising. Distribution will be free for all fans via the internet once the final product is available.

To see the entire Press Release, head over to the TrekFansUnited forums.

Moore says that fans can be a part of this project by visiting the TrekFansUnited Website.
