British tabloid The Sun is reporting that Daniel Craig and Henry Cavill both arrived at Pinewood Studios to meet with the producers of Casino Royale. The rumor has it that both actors were scheduled on the same day to do screen tests for the lead role of Bond, James Bond!

The Sun went on to say that both men were “auditioning together.” Some are speculating that Craig is going to play the villainous Le Chiffre opposite Cavill’s Bond. Right now that is only speculative rumor, however.

Regardless of the Sun’s report, annonymous insiders say the search is still ongoing with names like Steven Brand and Goran Visnjic still popping up as serious candidates. Some are even saying that the studio may decide to go with a young unknown and launch a whole series of new Bond flicks with him.

We will know soon since, according to actress Dame Judith Dench (M), filming begins in March of 2006.
