Sci-Fi Well Represented At This Year’s Emmys

Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis have been nominated for three Emmy Awards! SG-1’s “Reckoning, Part 2” and Atlantis’s “Rising” have been nominated in the Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series category. Stargate Atlantis was also nominated in the Outstanding Main Title Theme Music category, which is ironic, since the Sci Fi Channel has opted to remove the opening themes this season.

Visit the Emmy Awards website for a complete list of nominees. The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented September 18 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
