Now comes BBC America’s look at the new season.
It’s got some new footage for you to drool over.
The new season returns Saturday, April 23. With A Game of Thrones debuting on Sunday, April 16th and Doctor Who the following Saturday, this could be one of the greatest weeks for genre fans EVER!

This is the one narrated by Mark Sheppard, who is in DW this upcoming season & was also in Firefly & BSG. I had been liking his work, but only found out recently that he's Morgan Sheppard's son. Loved Morgan in Max Headroom!
And, DirecTV is probably still not going to carry BBC America HD in time for this new season.
Then why was DirecTV running all those "BBC America in HD" promos I kept seeing last year? I thought they were already carrying it... bummer. Not that I could tell... I've been waiting 2+ years for them to release the new HD receiver with TiVo they've been promising. As long as my TiVo DVR receiver keeps working, I'm not going HD.
That, and my slowly dying TV isn't HD, and there's no way I'll be able to afford an HD set anytime soon, so my next set definitely won't be HD.

I call Comcast in Portland, Oregon, every 6 months to ask when we'll be getting BBC America in HD... they always say "soon".
