Broken Pump Requires Unplanned Space Walk

The crew on board the international space station will make an unscheduled space walk today to attempt to fix a broken cooling system. The system is one of two for the space station and its going off-line has forced the crew to cut back on power usage since last weekend, reports the Associated Press.

Actress Courtney Ford has landed the potentially recurring role of Vanessa on the upcoming season of "The Vampire Diaries."

Nielsen research reports Americans spend nearly a quarter of the time they're on the Internet from their PC, or about six hours a month, on social-networking sites and blogs. That's a significant gain over the average time spent on sites from the study last year, according to the survey.
