Sometime during the summer between my second and third grade years, I managed to convince my mother to take me (an only child growing up on a farm) and my best friend to see the new movie that everyone was talking about. My eyes were blown open to the wonders of scifi through the spectacle that was the original Star Wars.

British tabloids report that Smith is considering leaving the role after series six. Smith reportedly wants to pursue roles in Hollywood films.

Hollywood was watching the showdown this weekend between "Inception" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." Many insiders predicted a close box-office race between the two, though in the end it wasn't even close.
And the winner is Christopher Nolan's "Inception." The mind-bending movie won the weekend with $60.1 million. Even more impressive is that the film did this without being 3-D.
