Bay Promises Changes in "Transformer 3"

Director Michael Bay says the next installment of "Transformers" will grow up a bit. He's promising USA Today that the emphasis in the film will move away from goofball humor and that there will be a more coherent story.

Last year's sequel took a drubbing from critics and some fans. It made a ton of money at the box-office, but it wasn't on many top ten lists at the end of the year.

Pirate Versions of "Doctor Who" Game Show Up OnLine

If you live outside the UK and used alternate methods to acquire a copy of the new game "City of the Daleks," be careful.

The game is available for download and play to users inside the UK. Users outside the region will have to wait until the game is officially released in their markets later this month. (The U.S. gets it later this month and there will be a price tag for it).

Schwartz: Carter Right For "Chuck," Not for Chuck's Mom

One of the hot casting rumors concerning NBC's "Chuck" has been former Wonder Woman Linda Carter stepping into the pivotal role of the mother of Chuck and Ellie Bartowski next season.

"Lantern" Sequel Already Green Lit

The first "Green Lantern" movie hasn't even finished production and won't hit theaters until June 17, 2011, but Warner Brothers is confident it will be a hit. So confident they've given the green light (pun fully intended) to a sequel.

Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, all of whom are working on the first installment, have been hired to write a sequel.

Lee Weighs In On Glover for Spider-Man

A few weeks ago, "Community" actor Donald Glover tweeted that he'd like to be considered for the lead role in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. What caught the interest of various on-line forums is that Glover is an African-American actor. This brought up the question of whether audiences might accept Peter Parker as an African-American.
